Iraq

Hey guys, My name is Mike or for you soldiers my name is SGT Clayton. Anyway Im currently serving in Iraq, while I have been here i traded in my 1GEN Eclipse for a 99 3kgt SL. I have been wanting a 3kgt since I started driving, unfortunatly was never well off, but since im making an assload here in iraq I finally was able to get one. i paid 9k from a dealership, they sold it to me as a base model, my dad got it home and took it to another dealership and they said it was an SL (dohc). It only has 50,000 miles. So I feel I got a pretty good deal. I think the reason they thought it was a base was the owner prior shaved the badges off. Anyway I finally have the car of my dreams. I used to come here for questions about my eclipse, thus why not come here for ?'s for the 3kgt. Noone has ever let me down here. Just thought i would let everyone know

Re: Iraq

Good deal. You would think a dealership would be smart enough to use the VIN to see what trim it is...but hey, your gain. Make sure and post up some pics when you get the chance. Where are you from and how long are you supposed to be overseas?

and like stealthee said, thank you.:usa::usa:
(why is there and but no freaking US flag?? )

Re: Iraq

well thanks alot guys, ya i would put pics up, but unfortunatly it takes for ever here cause the internet is very slow in Iraq. I should be home in like November, not sure though. Thats what im shooting for though. Tell you what though after almost being blown up 3 times. Some good things happen like this car to balance everything out. So i am very excited to get home and sit in my car for the first time and drive for hours. I probably will have some questions, so thank you. I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. I am constantly on here reading just about every thread there is, ive read just about every thread up to page 54! lol I cant be there to see or feel the car, so I might as well learn as much as I can. Once again thanks.
