i used to have a K-nex dragster set that would own any remote controlled car that all my friends had
maybe thats what got me into cars

You ever tried to make a new Technics kit Amish_Kid? They make a fully functional Williams F1 kit that moves and all, it is $198AUSD. And they think that a 12 year old can assemble that

Geez,you guys don't know how lucky you are......When I was a kid.........

the only power unit for Lego was about the size of a house brick and ran at about 2 m.p.h.It was attatched to its fuel source,another house-brick size unit full of flashlight batteries by a short cable,and if was any uglier it would have come pre-fitted with Ford stickers....

hell ya i played with constructs i still have a 10 gallon bucket filled with the things
now there was a toy set worth playing with
don't get me wrong i love legos too but never knew there was a battery pack for them (and i thought the constructs battery pack was bad)
