Unhappy Swift main headlight problem

I have a 1998 suzuki swift. When I turn on the dipped headlights both lights work fine. When I then switch to main beam, the passenger side goes to main, but the drivers side remains on dipped. I have changed the bulb but still have the same problem. Can you help?

Thank You

Re: Swift main headlight problem

Check the wires on the connector that the light plugs in to. Clean it out real good with carb cleaner or better yet rubbing alcohol so you don't risk melting wires and make sure the wires going in are connected. Good luck...
