Tahoe idles rough when i hit a stop light...

Please help my tahoe started to shake bad when i make a complete stop... I took of the intake cap that says vortex and noticed that it sucks to much air....this is getting annoying ,,,it may be a misfire???

What year and engine?
How many miles on it?
When was last tune up?
Does check engine light work and is it on?

Go to Autozone and have them scan for codes and post back what they are if any present.

does it idle wierd all the time,like in park. im just going to throw this out there but maybe your o2 sensor went bad. i dont know what year you have but mines a 99 so i have 4. 2 before the cat and 2 after i believ . mine didnt make the sevice soon light come when it went bad,it just started running like crap.i dont know how to test them,i just got lucky and the first one i checked was all busted inside and i could hear it rattle. cost like 58.00 for a brand new one.. best of luck to you..
