2001 Blazer 4x4 problems

Let me start by saying my gf had her tranny fixed by a repair shop. Th shop told her that th e4x4 is broke and they put it in 2x2 until we can get it repaired

Someone had a blazer same year and model.
Same problem with there s it wasnt going into 4x4 they pionted at the fire wall and showed me thier vacumm modular . I looked at ours and two inlet ports for vacuum.....and.. only one connected . SO I imediatly pluged the other vacum gauge back in . Had someone put it in 4x4 it went in ! Didnt work though

Can someone tell me how to manually set it back to 2wd

Re: 2001 Blazer 4x4 problems

Well if it is broke it is time to fix it instead of playing around with it and getting it mesed up.

WHAT TRANSFER CASE DO YOU HAVE?

If A 233

If the auto shift 4w.
You will need a Transfer case capable scanner to get codes and check out shifting.

Post back codes.
