Question 99' jimmy, how to remove the dash

my 99 jimmy's ac doesnt work, i have checked the compressor and it works fine. what happens is that my vents always blow hot air, even when i have the climate controls off. so my step dads guess is that there are doors inside the housing that arent clossing so i need to pull it out of the dash. i got all the little panals off and the glove box out. we looked in at the dash and noticed that it looks like the dash pivots out instead of haveing to take it all the way off. so my question comes down to how do i remove/make it pivot?

any info would be nice thanks

Check the actuator motor first.
Go up in the how to section on how to do it.
