95 Grand Am just went dead

Came home from work, 1995 Grand Am was running fine. I turned the car off. My son jumped in and wanted to go get something to eat. Low and behold. The car is dead. Doesn't make a turnover sound. Nothing. What could this be. Battery? Starter? Thanks.

It could be a number of things. Start by checking the battery. If it's good, check for 12v to the starter, both B+ constant and the "S" terminal when cranking.
