I have a 91 Jetta GL, 1.8L. I replaced the condenser a couple months ago and used a package of o-rings that were supposed to be model specific from advance discount autoparts. They were anything but. They came in a large assortment of sizes so you had to sort them and then test several to get a proper diameter. Despite the assortment, none were quite the right size to fit dryer connections properly. To make things worse, the rings were also to thin. The old ones were a bit tattered, but I'd have probably been better off reusing them. After a month, all the 134a escaped. Does anyone know a reliable source for model specific o-ring kits?

Re: A/C o-rings
Thanks EatonZ
I found a site: Arizona mobile A/C kits that seems pretty good. |
