low rpm shake

I drive a 95 accord ex. It shakes at low rpms, around 1800 - 2000. It use to only do it when it was under load (driving down the road) but now it does it a little when it is parked or in neutral as well. It isn't a really bad shake usually, but you can feel it. If you hit just the right rpm though, it will shake pretty severely.

I just did a tune up, involving new:

-plugs & wires
-distributor cap & rotor
-fuel filter
-intake
-exhaust
-valve cover gasket

Got everything put back together and the shake is still there. I have pretty much done everything my skill allows to try and remedy the problem. I am just trying to get an idea of what it might be, so I know how much I am going to have to shell out at a shop.

Thanks in advance for any wisdom you could share.

Re: low rpm shake

Make sure your coolant is up to the level.

Bleed the possible air pockets.

Good luck,

Sam

Re: low rpm shake

bleed possible air pockets out of the coolant lines? I just had my radiator flushed and filled over the winter. I would imagine that it should be fine. Any other ideas????

Re: low rpm shake

If your mounts are bad, the motor will most likely shake if you are in drive and not moving. you might not notice this as much with a standard tranny.

Re: low rpm shake

I have the same issue with my 92 Accord. Check the mounts carefully. I found my front torque mount is crack. It is $42 at Advance Auto. Not to difficult to change out either. Good luck
