Question Correct 16in tire size?

So which is it 205/40, or 205/45, or 215/40 ? Which of these sizes will be the closest to the 2% or 3% diameter? Which one will be the best ride?

Thanks

..my personal preference is 205/45.... 40 series tires look way too small on 16s in my opinion...and the 215's are gonna be too wide.... 45 series are gonna give you the best ride too..

I'm also going 205/45, however 195/45 is an option for me too.
I agree with marked that 205/40 looks too small but it will give give you a close to stock overall diameter.
