Candy Paint

Can somebody run me through how to get the best finish with Zero Paints candy paint including details on how many layers of paint and primer and what needs to be flattened and when.

Re: Candy Paint

In a word, no.

If there's something specific you want to know, then ask it as specifically as you can and someone will do their best to help you. Give every bit of information you can in your question. What you're building, what equipment you're using, what problems you're having, what you've tried, what you haven't tried, what you're level of experience is, etc.

Zero paints come with their own instructions, and they're reasonably well done. If you want to know more, this is certainly a good place to ask. But asking a short "tell me everything you can" question and then hoping someone will write you a novel in response will not likely meet with much success.

Primer as normal and flat the primer with wet and dry so that it's smooth.Apply the silver ground coat (I assume you are using this??) Don't flat the silver ground coat at all.If you make any mistakes flat them out and apply more silver ground coat, never flat the final coats.Apply your Candy colour in nice even coats. The more you put on the darker the finish will be.Allow to dry then apply your chosen clear coat.Done!!!!
