I have a 1997 sunfire gt 2.4 litre twin cam

Hey i hav a 1997 sunfire gt and i havent really started drivin it yet because ceratain things but however i do take it for a testdrive every once in a while around d block and i noticed a couple of problems, check brakes indicator is on, engine light is also on but the reason why i think the engine light is on is because i my engine shakes because i need to buy new engine mount/engine bracket. and wen i test drove it i noticed if i step hard on the brakes it locks/ seize as this ever happened to anyone b4. o need to replace my drum brakes because it locks up any time i step hard on them n might mess my rear up. some one let me know if they know anythin about this problem
