Mazda 626 Transmission??

looking over a 1998 mazda 626, The car will not go in reverse, when its put in Neutral it wont go anywhere, usually the cars brakes lock in place, sometimes it will go in reverse a little, most times not, when it does you can hear a clicking noise from it, after changing the driver side CV joint, it didnt fix the problem, now it sounds like the clicking is coming from the right side CV joint.

any ideas?

Re: Mazda 626 Transmission??

Is it automatic or manual? Sounds like a linkage problem either way.
