06 4 cylinder a/t opinions=

i,m looking to buy a 2006 with 4 cylinders, automatic tranny. consumer guide reports all kinds of transmission defects. what,s you guys opinion?

I can't think of any issues. I can only recall replacing one transmission in a 4cyl '06+ Sonata. Done a few more in the V6s, but still not nearly the amount as we've done in other models. You will be fine getting one, just make sure you follow Hyundai's recommended service intervals. Every 30k on the transmission fluid, and make sure you put the correct fluid in.
