1999 buick park ave engine problems

i had my engine rebuilt its a 99 buick park ave non super charged when it was done the so called mechanic told me to drive it for a few days that it was beacuse the engine had 2 ajust the car would shake all over u can feal it really bad but only when u were @ like a stop or when the rpms r under 1000 i called him the next day because the check engine lighelp waht came on he said it was fine the car ran great when on the freeway but if i was in traffic it shock alot and i felt like it was going 2 die on me i was on the freeway after like 350 miles that i got it and the check engine light started blinking then i started hearing this tick noise when i hit the gas i felt like it lost power i need some help what do u guys think it could be?????

Either that engine is not running right or the engine is tanking... Is this engine a Reman engine or did he rebuild it?

I would take it back to him and have him look at it as he put the motor in there..

And if the SES light was blinking, Thats a Random Multiple Misfire

well i have had the car just siting and im not taking it back to that mechanic i just hope its nothing big like i said it runs great on the freeway with no problems but that ticking noise is damn enoying

so i dont i drove it today after like 2 weeks and the car is very slugish when i hit the gas it has a hard time even rebeing up this car is really getting on my nerves
