95-96 clutch problems/tranmission problem

sold my car to a friend on payments, he stopped paying i had to repo my car back. i found that the car is stuck in 3rd or 4th gear. i can hold the clutch in and it will roll like nuetral but i cannot switch gears into neutral or any other gear.

4 cyl. hyundai accent
clutch was previously weak but worked ok if driven easy.
