Rear View Mirror Fell Off?
Hey Guys,
This isnt a very serious problem or anything, but the other day when i had gotten back from a 3 day basketball tournament, i got in my car and found the mirror just dangling from the cord that connects the Onstar and stuff. I was just wondering is you knew of any good ways to put it back on, or any good glues or things like that to use. |

Re: Rear View Mirror Fell Off?
Not too uncommon! They do have a glue used to hold these back on! You can get it at any auto parts store, or anywhere really. I got mine at Wal Mart last time in the auto section. Just make sure it is rear view mirror glue. (It is cheap). Just make sure you follow the directions on the package. You have to mix two things together in a certain order. Should dry in an hour or so and there ya go!

They like to do that when in direct sunlight
...had mine fall off when leaving the drivway, about did a load in my drawers, scared the crap out of me.Get the glue as stated above and viola...I believe its a T20 torx bit to get the metal ancore peice off the mirror to put back on your windshield. let it dry and slip the mirror on and tighten it back up
