my Friday night

Well, my first accident. I was on a bridge the freeway doing about 65-70 and a guy in a civic came over on me ran me off the road I didn’t hit anything but him. After he held the car on mine for about 2 seconds while I was almost completely off the side of the road, I was about a foot away from the wall of the bridge, he snatched the car back into the left lane hit the concrete barrier on left side of the bridge bounced off of it and did a head on with the other concrete barrier on the right side. His civic was totaled, I couldn’t get any pictures but this front right wheel was almost ripped off and the whole front of the car was pretty much gone. Neither my friend in my car or I was hurt, the 2 in the other car were taken to the hospital but I don’t think they were hurt too bad considering how their car was. A witness told the cop it was my fault and I have to go fight a ticket on march 24th. This sucks

What was that guy's (Civic) deal? From what you say it sounds like he hit you first and held you to push you off the road then lost control when he decided to let go. Then witnesses prob felt sorry for him since he left in the ambulance and you didn't. Looks like you got off lucky though, you'll prob need a new door skin and maybe a quarter panel if its not repairable. I take it your car is still drivable? Make sure your friend goes with you to court.

I think he panicked he was like 17. but yeah when he came over he held it there for a second or so an than yanked it the other way. Car is still drivable which is good, and my friend is shipping off to the marines that day so unless he can change the date he goes he wont be here.
