Something is wrong

Well when i acclerate(sp) hard in first gear the car starts to jake backwars and fowards and when i put it into second it does even worse but this only happens sometimes when i slam it not all the time

might be that one of your mounts has gone bad, most likely the rear one

Look at the bushings. If it looks deformed or ripped then yeh its pretty bad.

This sounds alot like a gas filter plugged up more than a motor mount. Doesnt do it unless hard acceleration, Id check the fuel filter.

Dunno, it sounds like fueling because but it would do it in all gears not just first and second. But if u havent changed your filters do so and if ur engine is carb then clean it.

Otherwise go with what the others say and check all the mounts, theres no harm in checkin them anyway
