03 p1336 code
I have a car where the shop changed out the cam sensor and syncro to get rid of a noise. Now the check engine light stays on (p1336) and nobody can get it to stay off for more than 25 miles??????

The code description from the factory service manual states, "Input Signal to PCM from CKP Sensor and or CMP Sensor erratic." This could very easily be due to a damaged wire or intermittant connection between either of the sensors and the PCM. I'd start by pulling up a wiring diagram for the CKP and CMP sensors and inspecting the grounds and harness shield grounds. Then inspect all connections for those circuits and make sure they are clean and tight.
