mantaning speed
hi when i get to speed the rpms drop and i slow down what could do this

Is this in cruise control mode or just a manual foot on the gas mode. The transmission does up shift into the overdrive (5th gear) mode above about 45 MPH (unless the foot is firmly planted o n the acclerator pedal) and the RPM does drop, however your speed should remain constant
