Service engine soon light
I have a OBD1 system that when I do the key on-off ect, I get the following codes, 1-2-2-1-6-1-5-5. This is on a 3.0 Voyager.
Can someone tell me what this is saying? Thanks |

Re: Service engine soon light
If this is your 97 Grand Voyager you have the OBD II system
12 - battery disconnected recently 21 - upstream O2 sensor not sensing rich or lean condition 61 - MAP sensor has a baro reading below an acceptable value 55 - end of reading What symptoms are you seeing? Which engine do you have? Might try reseting the codes by disconnecting the battery a few minutes then drive it and see what codes come back.

Re: Service engine soon light
Thanks RIP, This is a 96 Voyager with the 3.0 engine. I'm looking at it for a friend. The light has been on for a week or so, then when hot it would not idle, although it has been idleing ok now (not dying) but a little rough. I swapped out the MAP sensor with a used one, light still on. The inside of the tailpipe looks like its been running rich. Makes me wonder about the O2 sensor. I will disconnect the battery and see what happenes. I'll let you know what I find.
Thanks again Last edited by 97vger; 06-21-2008 at 10:11 PM. |
