Tiny is Back!
Tiny is back in business! As some of you may know, "Tiny", was the lead tech for Panoz Racing Series for several years. Last year he closed the shop and than Panoz sold the racing school and cars.
In any case, after a year long Hiatus, he is back in business. We are ready to serve your Panoz (and other racing) car needs. As some of you know, any "tiny" engine- one that he has worked on, refreshed, touched, thought about, or uttered the name of, generally fetches more on the open market. He'll be down at Sebring this weekend looking after that special, custom built GTS (some of you know the one....). Stop by and say hello!! Any of your Panoz needs (or most racing cars for that matter), drop a line. When it comes to Panoz, if we dont know, it probably will never be known!

Re: Tiny is Back!
How do I know if I have one of Tiny's custom built stock motors? Is there a greasy fingerprint on the valve cover or something?

Re: Tiny is Back!
Yeah thats it.. you will find a bit of grease!
There were not many of the "special customized" ones he created, but the ones that he built/rebuilt should have black valve covers and IIRC blue block. Of course, since they were sold, some may have already been rebuilt! Although he helped those guys some, he didnt do much with the school car, so I doubt any of those would have that. But the series cars, most he was responsible for the care and feeding of! Regardless, he was responsible for a great deal of the changes to the cars (mainly engines, but the other systems of the car as well) and pretty highly respected within the circuits/series'. If anyone is at sebring tomorrow (sunday), he'll be there with that mean GTS (its a very special one.... heh) car, so stop by and say hi. Also, any questions with the cars (yes even the school cars!) feel free to drop me a line, we'll get you an answer And of course, were now officially open so bring em'! We'll even pick it up for you- references and testimonials available on request

Re: Tiny is Back!
We are are located in Jefferson, GA.
For major work we prefer to bring it to the shop, for obvious reasons, which we can arrange pickup/delivery, or do the work onsite. What really gets him going is track days. He will fly in for a race, help adjust/fine tune and than of course essentially be the pit guy for your race (fly-in mechanic, whatever you want to call it). PM me and I will provide contact information and we can get into details. We do not have any spare cars, but we do have some bare "pre-stage engines" (is that even a term??), that we can turn around (for a whole rebuild) a little faster than from scratch. Seems spring summer... higher demand... cant figure it out ![]() Michael |

Re: Tiny is Back!
I think i have one of his motors. It has a blue block, black valve covers with an SVT logo plate with some engraved names in it?, and someone signed the intake cover, sound like one of his?
Its Chassis #21 GTWC but Car # 22 The car feels stronger, in the limited time I've driven it, than the other one I've driven. Any ideas on what he did to those motors? I am trying to find a bit of "history" on the engine and/or internals.

Hey Eric Yep sounds like one of his. I check and see what history he may have. He had a few little "signature things". Funny part, it bled into the school cars as well, although for a time it was just the series cars. |
