Quick all motor hatch...who knew? (Videos)

As I'm listening to the tornado sirens outside i will post this. My friend just bought a hatch with a B20 that is bored out with high compression pistons, a cam, injectors, intake, full exhaust, weight reduction, and some other little things. We ran him in MZR's car but Dalton didnt know that his redline was 8250 rpms so he was shifting at 7000. He called the guy he bought it from and found that out and we decided to run. Here are the results...we have both car views for you, even though they are cell phone vids at least they are in the light!

its actually a really nice sound. Not whiny like most of those hatches are. It i loud yes but I am actually a fan of the noise. Amazing how much difference the extra 1000 rpms did. i put three cars on him when we raced to 110. Same race this time, dead even.

Before I threw a camshaft on my Civic, it did have that whiney little pitch, but the difference after the Cam made me love the sound of my car. It was a sound that usually made people ask if I had a swapped engine (in fact I did). But it wasn't your usual D16 to a B-series. It was swapped to a D15...which I just threw all the parts at.

Still funny to hear guys ask what I had and get an answer of, "1.5 engine." The shock value was a tickling feeling...

Anyway, I can somewhat imagine again the sound you are enjoying coming out of a B20.

I guess I couldnt tell how far back he was, as you cant tell as soon as he drops out of frame because of the blind spots, your hand, and the wing. So I just guessed. Im not bragging about it though because he would beat me!

Ha jeep we are actually at the hotel room right now. Me, MZR, and a few other people came down to Sabin Minnesota to run at the track tomorrow! We will let you know our times for sure.

for one it doesnt even sound all that bad in real life it sounds way better then all the other ricer diving around and it also wasnt a kill i dont get how you figure when i had to slam my brakes cuz there was a car in my lane
