92 cavalier Z24 with 89 5spd tranny needs a cv shaft.
I have a 92 cavalier z24 with the 3.1L MPFI V6 in it. A lot of power wor a little car. But it has an '89 5spd tranny. |

that male part should be removable.
But don't quote me on that. GM's 4t40e has this feature. Either side shafts are identical, but the passenger side has a male extension which is removed and is like 2-3" long. throw some pics up on here if you can,

Hey thanks for the help, but I got it. It is removeable but it wouldn't work anyways. 92's have an intermediate shaft between the actual cv and the tranny. 89's just have longer shafts. I figured it out though. I just used the one withought abs. I'm tired of messin with it at the moment. Abs brakes are no fun anyways. The shaft wasn't too short, the snap ring was just being stubborn. I'll get some pics of my car on anyways. It's nice for $500 that I paid for it.

Damn car sounds like a V8 at idle. Nice and healthy V6. I still wonder if it wasn't lifted out of somthing bigger.
