exhuast
i drave a 03 gt and am looking to put an exhuast on it. i have posted some threads about this and have been happy wth the response. i am wondering if i should just buy a muffler and then have a shop put it on and bend the tubing or should i go to a shop and have them just put a dual cat back on or just save up and buy the borla exhaust. i am also going to get headers so

Re: exhuast
Borla is over priced IMO.
A little lower tone, maybe, but iits the resonator in the kit that makes it sound like that. A custom exhaust with a dual outlet muffler, like flo master, shouldnt cost more then $350-400 for a Cat back(half of Borla), and sound best with dual tips. you didnt mention your engine, but for the V6 this is the only place I know of that has headers. http://www.ssheaders.com/V6.htm Getting ready to install a set on my GA GT. ![]()

Re: exhuast
i agree with Xero unless you're stackled with money the borla is a waste of the cash and wayyy over priced and it doesnt even sound badass, personally i would just get the muffler take it to a shop tell them what you want and let them take it from their. like Xero said a custom exhaust will run you from 350-400 and it sounds just as good as the borla or if you do it right even better for half the price.
