Anyone remove Z71 exterior trim?

I'm thinking of doing this to clean up the looks on my '05 Z71 Suburban... It's all basically Lego'd in place, just wanted to see if anyone else had done it - thanks!

Your best bet for removing those decals is to get a hair dryer and some dental floss. Hit the emblem with heat heat for a couple of minutes and then work the dental floss through the decal. After that, clean the area with some dish detergent and then wax. Good Luck!

Re: Anyone remove Z71 exterior trim?

I am not referring to the logos/emblems or rub strips. I am referring to the grey plastic that all Z71s from 99-up have... Anyone do this yet?

I need to do the same thing on my 96 2 door. Where is the best place to get this kit of parts and do you have a part number?
Thanks
