Anyone remove Z71 exterior trim?

I'm thinking of doing this to clean up the looks on my '05 Z71 Suburban... It's all basically Lego'd in place, just wanted to see if anyone else had done it - thanks!

Use a heat gun to remove it and should come off.A hair dryer should do the same thing too.

A heat gun would be fine for the decals or body side moldings (if it had those) - I am talking about the grey cladding that every Z71 has...
