Traction control switch on 95 LSS

Has anyone seen this: My 95 LSS has a traction control switch on the dash that used to work fine, you could turn it on / off no problem. Now if you hit the switch by accident while driving, it will not turn off unless you turn the car off. If it is accidentally turned on, such as when your knee hits it getting in the car, the engine runs rough and misses until you stop the car so that T/C goes off. I guess the T/C switch is not working properly, but I'm not going to mess with it, the car runs fine as long as the T/C is not turned on.

Any ideas anyone? I will not be repairing this unless I have to since my son drives it to college and I'm hoping to get one more year out of this car before he graduates and we can dump her, she's been a very good and reliable car thru 157,000 miles.
