please help me! worst paint job ever! i hate Testors!

My first model and i realllly screwed up.

I tested the paint on a model before trying it out, but i just couldn't seem to get it right. It was Testor paint, and i really don't like it. The tamiya paint that i used previously was the wrong color, but it sprayed beautifully. I found that spraying it lightly from far away didn't work, because the paint would look like...dew? It wasn't smooth at all.

So i went up a little closer and started spraying and it turned out glossy. I was satisfied with the job, but there was a spot i missed, so i went back to spray that part over again. However, i had to end up painting the whole thing over because it turned out 'dewy' again. But this time, there was too much paint!

So now it's dripping and there are little air bubbles on parts of it, and i can't make out the panel lines, and some of it is still 'dewy'

If you'll please tell me what i could possibly do...I'm so traumatized because i spent so much time working on the actual model. I can't bear to think that i'd have to buy another one just to replace the body!
Is there something i can do to maybe...dissolve the paint? I really need your help and I would really appreciate if you could give me instructions on what to do...

btw, the model is a tamiya rx-7 r1...the engine detail model.

testors
