Stripped steering wheel thread

The thread on the steering wheel piece where you screw in the nut is stripped!

any idea what i can do to replace it?

its not the thread on the nut thats stripped but the thread on the piece where you screw the nut on

Don't take off your stock one. It's got an airbag for a reason. Keep it for the CRX.

thx for the life lesson but thats not even my intent.....

my problem being that me and my step dad were resetting the srs light and the idiot stripped the piece that you screw the nut into

----
then again the whole changing my steering wheel thing is my decision. yes im aware of the dangers. not saying that im doing it

Hmmm. They have tools for re-threading, but if not that, get a bolt that's bigger, and force it to re-thread itself.
