1993 Tercel 3ee 1.5L Manual 30MPG Normal?
Hey, I have a 93 tercel with the 1.5 4 speed manual...Ive just recently threw a fully rebuilt longblock in it and it runs great...My only question is if 30mpg city is normal for this car? The car spits no codes or anything. I used some Sea foam and gumout just to give the intake and injectors a cleaning...still that 29.8MPG...any1?
Thanks,Matt |

That is probably about right for city driving. I get between 35 and 40 with most of it on the interstate. I have gotten 44 one time. I just drove 300 miles yesterday on the interstate and got almost 38

www.fueleconomy.gov can give you a decent idea of what to expect. They will have the EPA estimated mpgs for that year, the updated "realistic" mpgs, and also an average of actual driver's mpgs.

I have a 94 1.5L, 4 speed and I am getting right about 30 and I am mostly city. Mine is running very rough though right now.
