cold air intake

Hi all, I just ordered one of those Chrome cold air intakes for my 1999 s-10. It has the under powered 2.2 4 cyl. Has anyone ran this setup or know what kind of difference it makes, or can anyone tell me if the Chrome products are any good. I know that short of a 500 hp shot of NOS and a 5 second hit of glory before grenade time, that I will never have a lot of power from the 2.2 but any little extra would help.
Thanks......

Re: cold air intake

All intakes basically give you the same performance, regardless of brand. Usually isn't all that effective unless you upgrade your other breather parts like exhaust and headers. Make sure the air filter is of a high quality brand.
