95 SHO Factory alarm question

I was able to make my factory alarm work thanks to ROB's advise and my mechanic. I bought a new remote at my local Ford dealer and it works great but I was wondering if when I activate the alarm and turn off the alarm are the headlights suppose to turn on or blink to let you know that is either off or on. I am curious because when I turn off the alarm all the interior lights turn on but nothing on the headlights and tail lights.

It's been awhile since I had my Gen2 SHO, and even longer since I used the factory alarm in it. But if I remember correctly, the headlights never flashed or came on as part of the arm/disarm. The parking lights may have flashed, but that may have only been if I pressed the "lock" button twice when locking the doors. I believe that would make the horn chirp as well.
