Re: Ford f250 2001 air condition problem

Welcome to Automotive Forums. If the unit blows hot air the problem is either electrical in nature or low freon. You say it is charged so I would say you have an elctrical problem that is keeping the AC compressor from coming on. You could have a bad switch on the dash, a bad low pressure switch on the receiver-dryer, a blown fuse, bad clutch on the compressor or a wiring problem. I am wondering why the lines were replaced? It is possible that the seals where the lines connect are leaking. If you had the work done someplace take it back and have them look at it again. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
