2000 Mustang GT won't start

2000 Mustang Convertible won't start. Has been sitting in storage for about
2 months. Tried to start the engine and it turns over but won't start.
When I turn the iginition switch to the ON position,I don't hear the fuel pump.
Is there a safety switch or fuse I can check before pulling the fuel pump. I don't think it is getting fuel.

There is a safety fuel shutoff switch. It is supposed to stop fuel from flowing in the event of a crash. Look in your owners manual to find the location. There will probably be a red button you will just need to push.

Thanks for suggestion.
The following day the car cranked at first try. It ran good for about 2 minutes than it died and would not start up again. The fuel pump isn't running. The safety switch is not triped. Could it be the relay or maybe just a bad pump.Do I have to drop the tank or is there an access panel to the pump? Thanks

Check the relay it should click when somebody is trying to start the car. You can feel it with your finger on it. Next check if your getting power to the pump. A plugged fuel filter will cause a no start. I would use a pressure gage and check for fuel. If you disconnect the hose to the intake it will start with a little starting fluid. This proves it isn't an electrical problem and is a fuel problem. If it starts buy a fuel pump.
The anti lock system will shut off a pump check for a light indicating this.
Some people have the gas removed by kids this will cause a no start.
