Rodeo and Pathfinder

I need some info. on these two SUV's. They look exactly alike and yet have different brand names on them. I always thought that they were made by the same people just that Nissan branded theirs and Isuzu branded theirs. I honestly have no idea if this is the fact. I wanna know because I'm looking into buying a new vehicle preferably something with 4x4 because I'm gonna be going to lake tahoe during snow season (or some off road fun). Also how would you rate these two in respects to durability, mileage wise. Besides the usual oil change/tuneup, brakes, and tires. I'm thinking how long can they go without the need of major repairs. I ask this because I'm a poor college student who blows money on other stuff, like the ladies, heh. I have a '91 Honda Accord atm and it's got 194k on it but it's in need of some major repairs which I don't think are worth it for that car anymore. The difference in price is about 3-4k more for the Nissan Pathfinder.
