1989 rear disc brakes?

I've got an 89 and I was thinking about taking my rear drums off and installing rotors. I was getting some fenders and stuff at the junk yard and I seen a T-Type with rear discs. Could I take the whole control arm because it has the mounts on it. Or would I have to weld on some new brackets to what I have now?
