Re: antifreeze loss?
hello, you dont say how much but if your adding that often then i'd check all hoses/clamps including radiator cap.hows the oil look?? look at the under side of oil cap.its possible that its evaporating on a hot engine so pressurize system when the thermo is open or drive car until its warmed up then ck as the system will be under pressure.Good Luck!!

Re: antifreeze loss?
Do you have the 3.8 engine? If so its possible that youre having issues with your upper intake manifold, UIM gaskets, or lower intake manifold gaskets, or even feasibly some combination of those.
There is some information about the problem at the top of the forum, if I find out you have a 3.8 Ill PM some more stuff. For the time being the above advice is good, especially the checking your oil, you want it to look like oil, not chocolate milky at all. Might check under the cap too for any strange deposits.

Re: antifreeze loss?
I am having the same problem with my 02. I believe it is the waterpump leaking around the bearing. This is hard to detect because the antifreeze drys up very quickly. Check your waterpump bearing by turning the waterpump by hand. I have had this problem on other vehicles and it has been the waterpump. I am a little nervous about taking it to a garage. The last time I had a waterpump changed at a shop was on my 99. They overheated the engine several times and it started burning oil and was noisey in cold weather after that.

Re: antifreeze loss?
Add a bottle of "Bars Leaks" and drive the car for 30 minutes with the heater on high. If the water pump is going bad on you, you should see some coolant on the ground after the car has been idling for a few minutes.

Re: antifreeze loss?
I had this problem. I had my water pump replaced and haven't had any problems since.
