Does 92 Metro have auto door locks???

Hello Group,

I do not mean to sound nieve here, but did the 1992 Metro hatchback come with automatic door locks that activated once the car reachs 8MPH?

I think that started in 93. I deactivated mine. If you have it, you should here a click in each door when you drive above 5mph even if they aren't working. I cut a wire at the control box so my car thinks the doors are locked all the time and it doesn't try to lock them for you.
