Ferrari F430 Scuderia
Project : Fujimi F430 Scuderia
Colour : Yellow Start date : June 12 2008 End date : Detail : Ka Model Challange OR Crazy modeler Challenge Grade up kit Recieve my kit today morning ....  Some extra items for my airbrush   Airbrush stand & Cleaner Parts tree  Decal sheet... Feels like some decals are missing....  The wheels look accurate to me  Very nicely molded details into the seats  Brake calipers and discs molded seperate   Calipers  Vent covers  Picture of the rear  Front  Engine parts  Some mistakes in the molding.... Dont think it supposed to be like this   Also they molded in the light housing into the front lights.... Why backward engineer the kit ?_? They should have used back the separate molding like in the normal F430 kits.... Ill prob take the lights from my other f430 kits My dreamer's display for the scuderia  All made using balsa wood and glued with wood glue hahaha Thats all for now..... Please vote for the colour of the car

Congratulations on being the first one.... Theres no hurry to build it....
I personally suggest Rosso Corsa on the Scuderia... from pictures ive seen it will look fabulous. Also im not to sure if u should spend all the money into both CM's f430 PE sets. CM already made a PE set for his transkit however its not avaliable seperately... also im not to sure if they will fit to the fujimi kit anyway. Acustion made a set before fujimi released the kit and theres pictures of it on HLJ, however again it looks like usual stuff and not worth the money at all.

To be honest I have already made a reasonable progress on Scuderia with CM transkit and I can say that overall body shape could be more close then Fujimi kit (looking at it like this).
 But I must say, be careful with this transkit because I spent good 20 hours to fit it and prepare it for paint and it is still not good enough. As for the PE from the transkit, it will not fit (at least meshes) since it has realistic rear mesh (bumper) and Fujimi did this a bit more simplified. I am waiting for mine kit to arrive and then I will know for sure. It is good to see that Fujimi did nice seats, nice brakes, separate engine parts etc. Good improvement over standard F430 Good luck with progress, I hope to see some pictures real soon.

Some dry fitting pictures.... So far progress is on cutting out the rear molded mash
    Some progress on the display   So far im still undecided on the colour but most likely going for Rosso Corsa

So far heres the progress ... nothing big but layed down 3 coats of yellow and its shiny!
  Got the "CF" part done with CF decals and Ferrari emblem before clearing   Some of the base pictures   More should come tomorrow after decals are applied

Okay so basically heres a small update...
Wheels almost done Seats almost done Body clear coated and most markings in      Base half done and painted   Thats all for now!

Hah! found you at last...i see HDB in the pics!
i was wondering how come you knew where the blue box i had came from... humm...thought i was the very few left here not die-cast inclined. thought the poll wanted a red scu...you mean yellow overtaken it!?!? i actually like my scu to be in light metalic blue...that's if i have one. marc  SGP
