98 blazer interior rearview mirror

i am trying to reatach the interior rear view mirror to the windsheild of my 98 blazer but i dont know how to get the stone out of the housing becaus of the clip holding it is there any trick to this please help caus its tickin me off

Insert a small, flat-bladed tool into the slot from the bottom.
Press slightly in order to release the tab.
Slide the mirror off of the support.
