Power window question
I have a '94 Villager and the driver's side power window died. It seems like the switch is active - the rpm needle dips slightly when I push one of the buttons. There is absolutely no action from the motor. The passenger side window is fine as well as both of the rear 'wing' windows.
Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks in advance! Alan. |

Re: Power window question
I apologize for the lack of details, but I replaced the unit inside the door a couple years back on my 1997. It was fairly easy. I remember popping the vinyl panel off the side of the door and that will give you access to the unit. It was easy to disconnect. I went to the parts counter at the dealer and picked up a new one. I can't remember for sure, but I believe it was close to $100...maybe a little less.

Re: Power window question
Oops - I forgot to update my message. I went to the local junkyard (i.e. Auto parts recycling center...) and got the motor and regulator assembly for $15. Put it in and it works like new!
