starters

If you need a starter and go to the junk yard like me to get one beware that there are different starters for the 1.0 engine. the auto and manual are different. I know I first got a auto then went back and got the manual one.

Re: starters

For both the starter and alternator it is better to spend a little more money and get them new. Only reason is because you don't know how long or if something happened to the one that is in the wrecking yard. And it saves a trip to the parts store to have them test to see if it's good or not. Especially if you don't live close to one.

Re: starters

It really is no problem for me since I work there. the starter I got looks new and is remanufactured, I got lucky. But I do agree with you on the new part but with money tight sometimes you do what you got to do.
