taking off heads / camshaft

hey..so im looking forward in to a possible winter project on my car..i got a 2000 trans am ws6..6 speed..there are some local guys in my area that do porting and polishing, they have actually done heads for me on a different car, but my question is is how difficult is it to take the heads off, and the camshaft?..i know there aint much room to work on under the hood..ive done alot of work under my hood already to know that..so does anyone have any experience there..or know where there are any good write ups on it? i would appreciate any help..thanks

jeff
