Actually building...Tyrrell 003 (Jackie Stewart - 1971)
Ok, I finally have something that I can show you...
After hours and hours of sanding and polishing and painting and sanding and polishing and painting again and again, I can at least show you the finished bodyparts. I know, it's not a lot to show yet, but to me personally it is the part where things can go wrong the most, and I will never start building any car before I'm certain that the paintjob is absoluty flawless. Once I've taken that step, I can sit back and relax and start building the rest of the car. And that is exactly what I'm gonna do next... I'll keep you informed of course!   The very REASON I picked up building car models is this model, my very first racecar, a diecast model of the same Tyrrell, in scale 1/25 from POLITOYS. I got it when I was 12 years old, from my mom and dad back in 1972 on a holiday in Italy. It was the first step towards F1-interest, and to racecars and racecar-models. I will never throw it away...

Looks great so far!
Maybe these will help. A 004 was on display at the US Grand Prix at Indianapolis last year:   And speaking of the race, and "models"...  Hope these help, and please keep posting photos as the project progresses! Matt

Beautiful...so far. Actually I would like to get 1 for myself cause I love Tyrrell F1, but I was told that this kit got fitting problem...and I think my skill was not there, so I scrape the idea.
