Nissan Skyline 2000 GT/ES

This is my newest project.

It's an Nissan Skyline 2000 GT/ES from Aoshima with option parts to make an oldskool japanes car

I made a dryfit with the spoiler and fenderflares I wanted to use.

The kit comes with stretchwall tyres and wheels. So I'm going to use them of course

I don't know what colour it will be. Maybe black?

Kris.

Looks good. For the colour I'd go something similar to what is on the box art - how about the 'special' purple colour Tamiya released for the original Raybrig NSX? Can't remember the name - something "Violet"?

Re: Nissan Skyline 2000 GT/ES

you need to black out the headlights, so it looks like a big grille with no headlights. that would look awesome, but thats my opinion

Have it slammed like in the pics. I think the color of the blue plastic would look cool or black. It comes with the front radiator right?

Re: Nissan Skyline 2000 GT/ES

Sorry guys I painted it yesterday in Racing Blue

Now I'll let it dry a couple of days and bring on the BMF to the windowtrims. After that I'll clearcoat the body.

Re: Nissan Skyline 2000 GT/ES

Today I had some time to work on the Nissan.

First I added BMF on the windowrims.
After that I clearcoated the body.

The skyline logo and turbo logo on the back will be painted chrome with a gundam marker. This will be done after I polished the body.

Kris.

Re: Nissan Skyline 2000 GT/ES

Today I worked hard on this project.

I finished the interior and chassis.

First the interior.
I kept it basic with flat black. I used some embossing powder as carpet and replaced the original seats for 1 racingseat.

Than the chassis.
I painted some details and wheaterd it. I only have to make a new exhaust tip.

The body is also polished now.

Tonight and tomorrow I hope to paint the left over parts, and place it on the body tomorrow. Maybe I'll finish it tomorrow.

Kris.
