Just bought 2001 Jeep grand Cherokee 4.7 V8. What should I do???

Hello all. This site is great and any help is as alway very appreciated. I Just traded the 1997 BMW 528i w/144k for a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V8 quadra-drive w/90k title for title. Now is a great time to buy a truck. Its in near perfect condition. Everything works as new. I acually sold them brand new around this year.

My question is what can I do to keep it running like new. I drove a couple before I bought this on and it sounded like the drive lines made alot of noise. Almost the sound of off road tires except on had brand new michlins? What could that hace been? This one is smooth as glass and would like to keep it that way.

What do I need to do now to prevent future break downs or problems? plugs, diff oil, ect..........

Congrats on your trade. As far as oil I use Castrol synthetic for engine oil and Valvoline synthetic gear oil for front and rear differentials. I recommend to find someone to do a power flush and fill of your transmission. This could save you $$$ in the long run for a transmission rebuild. I also use Bosch platinum plus 4 spark plugs. I believe they last longer, conduct better, and give a stronger spark. That's all I can think of for now.
