trailer wiring
Good Day
My brother wants me to wire his G35 (2004ish) to take a small trailer. Might some-one give me a few pointers, please? (color codes?/ location of existing wires?) The trailer has all LED lighting. Thank you

In case anyone wants to add a trailer, I had a bit of trouble.
You need an adapter, to join the brake/turn signals, but the trick is you need an adapter that also has a battery wire. It appears that connecting to only the rear lights won't work. Believe it or not, the engine stumbled when a turn signal was on when I used an adapter that didn't have the battery wire. To check this last adapter, we used my trailer with just standard incandescent lamps - everything is fine.
