Shifter=broken
I have a '98 Tahoe, and last night the damn shifter broke. It's still attached but you aren't shifting from gears, it moves freely. At the moment I can still drive it, but I have to have someone I really trust but their foot on the brake, while I climb underneath to manually shift it in to drive. Anyone every hear of this or have any idea what happend?

Re: Shifter=broken
Check the shift cabel for broke or unplugged on either end.
